The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) works at the heart of Ontario's power system. The IESO delivers key services across the electricity sector including: managing the power system in real-time, planning for the province's future energy needs, enabling conservation and designing a more efficient electricity marketplace to support sector evolution.

            Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Effective March 12, the IESO is not accepting visitors at its three facilities, loted in Mississauga, Oakville and downtown Toronto. This step is being taken as a preution to maintain regular business operations during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Where possible, meetings and events will be conducted through webinars or conference lls.

The IESO has already moved its external stakeholder engagement activities, including Regional Electricity Forums, the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, Marketplace Training and the Technil Panel, to conference lls or webinars. Registration information for these meetings has been updated on the website to reflect this change.
